Ressurssenteret Unik

Founded in 2015, Ressurssenteret Unik is a community organisation based in Kristiansand, Norway working on children & youth, community development, poverty & hunger.

Ressurssenteret Unik is an independent, non-profit voluntary organisation established in August 2015 in Kristiansand, Norway. It provides a resource centre for children and families facing challenging circumstances, whether financial, social or otherwise. Activities include a family activity centre with weekly gatherings, shared meals, holiday trips and weekend activities, support for parents, and a children's birthday service at its premises in Marviksveien, including free birthday support for low-income families. The organisation also runs a cultural group for children aged 10-15 and a youth theatre group, and recruits volunteers for its activity groups and practical tasks. Its work is funded by individual donations, including monthly giving, a share of Norsk Tipping's Grasrotandelen, and grants from local savings bank foundations. It works with Redd Barna Kristiansand.
