It campaigns against the planned Lobau motorway (S1 Lobautunnel) and related high-capacity road projects such as the S8 and the Stadtstraße Aspern, arguing on grounds of nature conservation, climate protection, groundwater, and public transport. Its work includes legal challenges and expert opinions, public events, information walks, lectures, and calls for alternatives such as expanded public transport. It operates in and around Vienna and Lower Austria and is funded through public donations.
