About
Founded in 1992, RÉV Fehérvár is a faith-based organisation based in Székesfehérvár, Hungary working on addiction, mental health, children & youth.
RÉV Fehérvár is the addiction treatment and prevention service run by the Alba Caritas Hungarica Foundation, which operates under the Székesfehérvár Diocesan Caritas. Founded in 1992 as a charitable foundation supporting Caritas work in the Székesfehérvár diocese, the RÉV Addiction Outpatient Clinic began operating in Székesfehérvár in 1997. Services include day and community care for people with substance and behavioural addictions, outpatient counselling, family therapy and couple counselling, and prevention work in schools, child care homes, prisons and communities. Its target groups include people with addictions, their relatives, vulnerable families and young people at risk, with a focus on the Sárbogárd district and other designated settlements in Fejér County. The organisation also trains and supports social and health professionals, and is part of the national RÉV Addiction Care Services Network, which has sites across Hungary. Its work is guided by professional protocols and Christian values, and it accepts clients regardless of religion or background.
