RFI Foundation is a non-profit Community Interest Company registered in the United Kingdom. It works as a catalyst to bring responsible finance and Islamic finance together, with a focus on driving change within the financial sector in OIC countries. Its work includes building awareness, promoting research, and delivering knowledge and capacity-building for financial institutions on ESG, climate and nature-related commitments. It also provides thought leadership through open-access data, reports and public comments on responsible finance consultations, and runs training and a financed emissions database. Founded in 2015, it was the first nonprofit principally dedicated to connecting responsible and Islamic finance markets.
