Ribiška družina Cerknica is a fishing association founded in 1956 that manages angling waters in the Cerknica area of Slovenia, including Lake Cerknica, the Cerkniščica stream, the Rak in Rakov Škocjan and Lake Bloke. Beyond its members, the association carries out fish rescue during the drying of Lake Cerknica to protect fish and crayfish, removes invasive species from the Notranjska Regional Park, and runs environmental education, open days, workshops and children's competitions in partnership with local institutions. It issues fishing permits to visitors, rents its premises and equipment, and is administered by a board of directors and a fishing warden service. Its activities are based in Cerknica and the surrounding municipalities.
