Rusthall Community Cinema is a registered charitable incorporated organisation run entirely by volunteers, including its trustees. It screens films in Sunnyside Community Hall in Rusthall, near Tunbridge Wells, England, on a fortnightly Saturday evening schedule, with films chosen by community vote. Admission is free and the cinema is funded entirely by donations, with those able to pay more helping subsidise others. The charity aims to provide shared social experiences for people who might otherwise find it hard to attend commercial cinemas, including older people, disabled people and those facing financial hardship. Services include free transport and chaperones on request, a wheelchair accessible space, an induction loop and subtitles where possible. Each screening has a theme, with pre-film entertainment, themed refreshments and a discussion group afterwards, which is also available by Zoom. The cinema also hosts monthly National Theatre Live screenings and an annual children's matinee. It was founded following a 2015 community survey, with its first film shown in May 2016.
