The Scène nationale du Sud-Aquitain is a performing arts centre based in the Pays Basque area of south-west France, operating across Bayonne, Anglet, Boucau and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Each season it presents more than 50 shows covering theatre, dance, music and circus, and runs a wide public programme. Its activities include school and youth programmes, workshops and artist talks, outreach to hospitals, care homes, prisons and social centres, and accessibility measures for people with disabilities. It also supports artistic creation through co-production, delegated production and artist residencies, and runs cross-border projects with Spain under the Interreg POCTEFA programme.
