The Scottish Geology Trust is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, founded in 2020, that works to inspire people of all ages to understand, value and care for Scotland's geological heritage and its role in a sustainable future. It runs the Scottish Geology Festival, maps Scotland's geosites and works with communities to promote and conserve local geological sites. It also works with teachers to bring geology into the curriculum and collectively advocates for the importance of geology to society. The Trust is funded by donations and membership and is recognised by HMRC for Gift Aid purposes.
