SEARCH Foundation

Founded in 2018, SEARCH Foundation is a non-governmental organisation based in Quezon City, Philippines working on community development, environment & climate, poverty & hunger.

SEARCH Foundation is a non-stock, non-profit organisation registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission and established in 2018. It conducts action research aimed at empowering and mobilising grassroots communities, social enterprises and inclusive businesses in the social economy. Its work translates research into practical plans, tests and implements them in the field, and documents results to design replicable models for social development. Its projects include the CFSED Project, which supports forest-based social enterprises in Palawan and Samar, and it provides financial and technical support to community-based cooperatives and organisations across the Philippines, including indigenous Palawan, Tboli and Maguindanao groups. It is headquartered in Quezon City and is part of the Bayan Group of Foundations.
