The Seelen bewegt Stiftung is a non-profit foundation based in Berlin, Germany, established in December 2016 as a registered trust foundation (Treuhandstiftung) and recognised as charitable by the Frankfurt tax office. It aims to support people with mental illnesses, particularly psychotic disorders, by promoting the acceptance of movement and sports therapy as a complement to evidence-based treatment. The foundation funds research into movement therapy and charitable projects pursuing this goal, including hospital ward programmes, sport and inclusion initiatives, conferences and public awareness work. Its supported projects include activities at Charité Berlin, USE-SOWAS e.V. water sports groups, and an information platform on schizophrenic psychoses. The foundation is managed by a board of trustees and an advisory board, with trustee administration by Gutes Stiften GmbH.
