Seoski kulturni centar Markovac (SKCM) is a citizens' association formed from the work of the Hop.la! art group in Markovac near Velika Plana, Serbia. Founded in 2020 with the aim of restoring cultural and social life in the village and its surroundings, it runs a public library and children's club, creates kamishibai storytelling theatre, offers bibliotherapy, film therapy and music therapy sessions, and organises theatre productions and public readings. Its work promotes access to culture, education and social services for all social groups regardless of gender, ethnicity, place of residence or income, with a focus on community art, ecologically sustainable art, gender equality, and the preservation of material and intangible cultural heritage. It also campaigns for the restoration of the Markovac Cultural Centre building and the decentralisation of culture. Activities take place mainly in Markovac, Gložane and Svilajnac, and productions have been staged in several Serbian cities.
