The Shelton View Forest Stewardship Association is a volunteer-run, all-volunteer community organisation in Bothell, Washington. It works to preserve the Shelton View Forest, a wooded area of roughly 42 acres with about 5 miles of user-maintained trails, for current and future generations. The association advocates for park space in Bothell and opposed a 2015 rezone proposal by a real estate firm that would have allowed denser housing on part of the forest. The Planning Commission advised against the rezone and recommended the forest be considered for preservation as park space. The association also runs guided tours, volunteer work parties and community events, and keeps residents informed about development plans affecting the forest. It describes itself as a 501 nonprofit whose donations are tax deductible.
