Skateboard für alle
Simmozheim, Germany
About
Skateboard für alle is a charity based in Simmozheim, Germany working on children & youth, sport for development, arts & culture.
Skateboard für alle is a German non-profit organisation, based in Simmozheim and recognised as charitable since 30 July 2024. It collects used skateboards and skateboard parts in Germany, often with financial support from foundations such as the Klippel-Stiftung, and distributes them to children and young people in São Paulo, Brazil. The founders are Brazilian nationals living in Germany who visit their families in São Paulo each year. Their aim is to give as many young people as possible the chance to experience skateboarding, build self-confidence, learn to handle frustration and experience community. Donations are made in person during annual trips, and some equipment is bought directly in Brazil. The organisation works with local projects in districts such as Vila Prudente, Heliópolis and Jardim Romano, supporting skate programmes, workshops and community events, including skateboarding competitions. Donors receive receipts and can claim tax relief on donations.
