Founded in 2010, SKGBC is a non-profit association based in Bratislava, Slovakia working on environment & climate.

The Slovak Green Building Council (Slovenská rada pre zelené budovy, SKGBC) is a non-profit civic association founded in November 2010 to promote sustainable construction in Slovakia. It brings together companies from across the economy that support quality construction and renovation of buildings based on sustainability principles, and it acts as the country's main advocate for sustainable building. Its work includes advocacy on the ecological, economic and social aspects of sustainable construction, education of professionals and the wider public, organising events such as the Green Building Summit and Green Building Week, and facilitating dialogue on sustainable building. Membership is open to legal entities, with a separate exclusive membership tier and an associate tier for educational, scientific and non-profit bodies. The organisation is governed by a general assembly that elects a board, and an executive director leads its secretariat.
