Founded in 1976, Slovensko društvo INFORMATIKA is a non-profit association based in Ljubljana, Slovenia working on science & research, education.

The Slovenian Society INFORMATIKA (Slovensko društvo INFORMATIKA, SDI) is a non-profit association of experts working in informatics and information technology in companies, universities and public administration in Slovenia. Founded in 1976, it publishes the professional journal Uporabna informatika and the scientific journal Informatica, organises professional conferences such as Dnevi slovenske informatike and Informatika v javni upravi, and maintains the Islovar terminology dictionary. It administers the ECDL digital skills certification in Slovenia and awards honours for contributions to Slovenian informatics. The association states that it operates in the public interest, is a non-political civil society organisation, and operates within Slovenia and internationally. It is a member of IFIP and of the European association of national informatics societies.
