Founded in 2000 with public-interest and humanitarian status in healthcare, it provides peer support, psychosocial programmes, and awareness campaigns on organ and tissue donation, and organises sports activities for transplant and dialysis patients. It works with Slovenija-transplant, Rdeči križ, hospitals and other patient organisations across Slovenia and internationally.
