Solodaris Stiftung is a privately organised foundation based in Solothurn, Switzerland. It acts as the competence centre for people with psychological disabilities in the canton of Solothurn and supports their vocational and social integration. Its offers cover three areas: housing, work and integration. Housing includes residential groups, a residential home, supervised shared flats and supervised independent living in rented flats in Solothurn and Olten. Work offers range from simple tasks in a protected setting to demanding jobs oriented towards the open labour market, with training places where integration potential exists. Work areas include a garden centre, laundry, catering, cleaning and a visiting service for older people. The foundation also runs leisure and meeting activities and an integration and assessment programme with the IV-Stelle Solothurn for people whose work capacity has declined through disability but who have integration potential. Its stated aim is the greatest possible independent living for the people it supports.
