It has around 58 clubs in Austria and works locally, nationally and internationally to improve the situation of women and girls in society. Its activities include scholarships for women's further training, the national SIOLENCE campaign against violence against women, public speaking competitions, awareness events, fundraising events and a women's journal, A Global Voice for Women. The organisation is non-partisan and non-denominational. Through Soroptimist International it holds consultative status with ECOSOC and the Council of Europe.
