About
Founded in 2011, SOS Katze is a non-profit association based in Graz, Austria working on animal welfare.
SOS Katze is a non-profit animal welfare association based in Graz, Styria, Austria. Founded in March 2011, it rescues cats in distress, including sick, injured, abandoned and farm or stray cats, arranges veterinary treatment and rehomes them. It does not run an animal shelter; instead it relies on volunteer foster carers in private homes, mainly in Styria and Carinthia. The association also runs neutering projects for stray and farm cats, feeds outdoor colonies, and raises funds through donations, sponsorships and an online shop. All work is done by unpaid volunteers.
