About
Stiftung Recht & Gesellschaft is a foundation based in München, Germany working on science & research.
The Stiftung Recht & Gesellschaft is a German foundation based in Munich. Its purpose is to promote science and research aimed at improving clarity, simplicity and transparency in tax and business law, and to examine taxes as a factor influencing social behaviour. It tests far-reaching changes to tax and business law for practicability before they are introduced, with the aim of reducing scepticism about reform and fostering a constructive reform climate. It is an initiative of the law firm Peters, Schönberger & Partner and holds an annual symposium on current socio-economic and political questions. It is supervised by the Regierung von Oberbayern.
