TESLA-SERBIA (Udruženje TESLA) is a non-governmental, non-profit association based in Novi Beograd, Serbia, founded in 2013 through an assembly held on 1 June 2013 and registered with the Serbian Business Registers Agency. It aims to promote and popularise the work of prominent Serbian figures, particularly in science, by erecting monuments, publishing books and other printed material, producing DVD and CD media, organising expert gatherings, and transmitting scientific knowledge to professionals and the wider public. Its projects have included commemorations of Nikola Tesla, Mihajlo Pupin and Mileva Marić, some held abroad, including in New York, Paris, Moscow, Ljubljana, Chicago and Australia, and some held under the patronage of Serbian state officials. The association's statute also covers environmental protection and sustainable development, including education of children and young people, expert seminars and volunteer clean-up and greening actions. It is funded by membership fees, voluntary contributions, donations, subsidies and, in limited form, economic activity, with any profit used only for the association's objectives.
