The Advocacy and Policy Institute is a non-governmental organisation based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia working on democracy & civil society, human rights, community development.

The Advocacy and Policy Institute (API) is a Cambodian non-governmental organisation working on advocacy, policy influencing, good governance and citizen engagement. It builds the capacity of civil society organisations, community-based groups and citizens, especially women, youth and disadvantaged groups, to voice their concerns, influence policy and hold government institutions accountable. Its work includes campaigning for access to public information, training, consulting services and dialogue facilitation between citizens and state actors. API is active in almost two-thirds of Cambodia's provinces and is headquartered in Phnom Penh.
