It provides large-scale disease control, including vector control against malaria, dengue, leishmaniasis and other vector-borne and Neglected Tropical Diseases, alongside water, sanitation and hygiene work. It offers technical and operational support to governments, health authorities and humanitarian agencies, and conducts operational research to develop evidence-based disease control solutions. Its work spans Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East, and it aims to strengthen health systems and build long-term disease management capacity with communities and health workers. The organisation follows the core humanitarian principles of neutrality, independence, humanity and impartiality, and its registered office is in the United Kingdom with an office in Ireland.
