The Together Project

The Together Project is a non-governmental organisation based in Siem Reap, Cambodia working on poverty & hunger, education, environment & climate.

The Together Project is a non-profit in Cambodia that works to address food insecurity by teaching farmers, students and city residents to grow crops organically and sustainably. Its main site is a chemical-free farm in Bakong, about 30 km east of Siem Reap, which includes a hydroponics greenhouse, a netted garden, a mushroom house, a schoolhouse and a farm dormitory. The project trains new farmers, runs free mushroom-growing classes, and builds mushroom houses for schools and rural villages. It has also distributed large quantities of rice and other food supplies to people in need, including villages in Siem Reap Province, flood-affected communities and people in Covid quarantine in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Donations are received from private donors in Cambodia and abroad, with tax-deductible options available in the US, Australia, New Zealand and the UK through partner organisations. The project works in partnership with the Rural Schools Support Organization.
