USB Országos Szamaritánus Társaság is a Hungarian national Samaritan association, founded in 1999 with 11 founding members and registered in Budapest. It acts as an umbrella for Samaritan organisations in Hungary, coordinating member groups that provide patient transport, home nursing, social support and first aid training. Its work includes health prevention days, respiratory therapy for children, subsidised holidays for low-income families, food and clothing aid for people in need, and environmental initiatives such as lending motor scythes to tackle ragweed. It is a full member of the international Samaritan network SAINT and works with partner Samaritan organisations in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. Its activities are concentrated in Hungary.
