UŠIT FBiH

Founded in 1947, UŠIT FBiH is a non-profit association based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina working on nature & wildlife conservation, environment & climate, science & research +1 more.

UŠIT FBiH is a non-governmental, non-partisan professional association of forestry engineers, masters, bachelors and technicians in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It works to promote the forestry profession and to support the role of forests and forestry in the economic, social and ecological life of society. Its activities include organising expert workshops, publishing the journal Naše šume and other publications, running the Šumarijada sports competitions, projects funded by the Environmental Protection Fund of FBiH on wild cherry variability and reforestation, and cooperation with other nature and forestry platforms, including PLANFOR. It is based in Sarajevo.
