Ustanova Petra Pavla Glavarja (UPPG) is a charitable foundation established on 23 December 1999 in Komenda, Slovenia, and named after the 18th-century local benefactor Peter Pavel Glavar. It works in the social, spiritual, cultural and educational fields, mainly for the people and community of the Komenda municipality. Its activities include weekly food distribution and financial social aid for residents in hardship, scholarships and talent support for young people, educational and cultural programmes, and volunteering. Governance is carried out by a five-member board, a scholarship committee and a supervisory board, whose members are volunteers who receive no remuneration. The foundation also receives donations, including through the 1% income tax allocation mechanism available to individuals.
