Founded in 2017, Verband muslimischer Lehrkräfte (VML) is a non-profit association based in Krefeld, Germany working on education, religion & faith.

The Verband muslimischer Lehrkräfte e.V. (VmL/VML) is a non-profit association of Muslim teachers who teach all subjects, particularly Islamic religious education, in schools across North Rhine-Westphalia. The association provides a professional network for Muslim educators, supports them on career and teaching questions, and represents their interests towards the public, Muslim umbrella bodies and state authorities. Its activities include further-training events on interreligious learning, a mentoring project for trainee and serving teachers, public information on Islamic religious education, educational trips and information events. The association is registered in the association register at the Amtsgericht Köln and states that it pursues exclusively charitable purposes under the German tax code (AO). Membership is open to teachers, with a stated monthly fee of 5 euros.
