Victorian Brumby Association
Glenlogie, Victoria, Australia
About
Founded in 2007, Victorian Brumby Association is a charity based in Glenlogie, Australia working on animal welfare, nature & wildlife conservation.
The Victorian Brumby Association is a volunteer-run registered charity formed in 2007 after several years of informal Brumby rescue. It rescues wild Brumbies caught from public lands, rehabilitates and trains them, and rehomes them across Australia. Its Brumby Junction Sanctuary near Glenlogie, Victoria, is privately owned and its use is gifted to the association. The association works with government land managers and other Brumby rescue groups in New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and New Zealand, opposes lethal control of Brumbies, supports passive trapping and fertility control, and educates the public about Brumbies and their habitat.
