About
Wagrampur mit der Natur is a non-profit association based in Feuersbrunn, Austria working on nature & wildlife conservation.
Wagrampur mit der Natur is a non-profit association in Lower Austria that works to research and conserve the landscape and wildlife of the Wagram ridge, a former Danube bank between the Tulln basin and the uplands north of it. Its best-known work is protecting the hoopoe, begun in 2005, through nest boxes, care of breeding sites and public awareness. It runs further projects for the little owl, eagle owl, barn owl, bee-eater and ground squirrel, and it installs nest sites in church towers. The association cooperates with farmers and winegrowers in the region, carries out environmental education, and works with research institutions and other conservation bodies.
