wohlBEDACHT e.V. is a non-profit project association in Munich, Germany, dedicated to people with dementia and their families. Recognised as charitable and public-benefit, it runs five shared-living apartments for people with dementia in the Riem and Allach districts of Munich and launched Germany's first standalone night-care service. The association supports relatives, volunteers and care professionals through a training programme, a consultation centre for rare dementias, a nationwide crisis helpline, open support groups and a day-trip programme called Kulturhäppchen. It cooperates with the day-care centre Tagespflege RosenGarten and the outpatient care service Mitten im Leben e.V. Its care concept, sanftMUTIG!, is based on self-determination and dignity for people with dementia. Founded in 2000, the association is a member of the Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband in Bavaria and the BPA. It is funded by donations, public and foundation grants, and fees for its services.
