World University Service (WUS) is an international, politically and denominationally neutral non-governmental organisation with members in over 50 countries. Founded in 1920 to support people working, teaching and studying in higher education, WUS now works across all levels of education and advocates for the human right to education. Its German committee, based in Wiesbaden, runs global learning and development education programmes, study-accompanying and scholarship programmes for international students, a portable water filter project for disaster areas, and career transition support in the Western Balkans. It also publishes information materials, runs seminars and campaigns, and advises on international student support.
