WPC Energy
United Kingdom
About
Founded in 1933, WPC Energy is a non-profit network based in United Kingdom working on environment & climate, gender equality, employment & skills.
WPC Energy is a non-advocacy, non-political UK registered charity and United Nations accredited non-governmental organisation, formed in 1933 and comprising 60 National Committees. It runs the WPC Energy Congress, a global energy gathering of policymakers, industry leaders, engineers, academics and NGOs that seeks workable paths to a net zero future. It also publishes research and reports, including on gender disparity in the energy industry, runs Young Professionals activities and surveys, and presents the WPC Energy Excellence Awards. Surplus from events and all profits from its activities are dedicated to charitable legacy projects in Congress host countries and through a central WPC Energy Legacy Fund.
