Founded in 1983, WUS Austria is a non-governmental organisation based in Graz, Austria working on education, human rights, international development.
WUS Austria is a politically independent, non-governmental association founded in Graz in 1983. It promotes the human right to education, with a focus on quality higher education, academic freedom and university autonomy. The organisation provides operative and technical support, consultancy and change management to universities, public bodies, NGOs and companies, aligning higher education with Bologna principles and UNESCO standards. Its regional focus is South-Eastern and Eastern Europe, with a branch office in Prishtina, and it also works in Central Asia, the Caucasus and other regions.
