Youth of JAZAS

Founded in 1994, Youth of JAZAS is a non-governmental organisation based in Belgrade, Serbia working on health, human rights, children & youth.

Youth of JAZAS (Omladina Jugoslovenske asocijacije za borbu protiv side) is a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organisation established in 1994 in Serbia. It works on HIV/AIDS prevention and provides psychosocial help to people living with HIV. Its youth-led activities include awareness and education campaigns, peer education, online counselling and resources, an AIDS information and SOS helpline, legal support for people affected by HIV/AIDS and those facing discrimination, and advocacy for the rights of people living with HIV. The organisation runs regional offices in several Serbian towns, publishes the Kontakt magazine for people living with or affected by HIV, and takes part in international AIDS conferences and national awareness events such as World AIDS Day.
