Zavod Dobra družba is a non-governmental organisation based in Brežice, Slovenia, that operates mainly in the Posavje region. Its mission is to strengthen, represent and connect non-governmental organisations and to take part in preparing and implementing policies that represent NGO interests. Its main activity is the regional NGO hub (Stičišče nevladnih organizacij Posavja), which informs NGOs about news, legislation and public tenders, offers free training and advice, runs procedures for selecting NGO representatives to municipal and regional bodies, and supports organisations with project management, strategy, and founding or closing NGOs. The organisation also runs projects on public perception of NGOs and countering hostile rhetoric, and participates in EU and regional development projects, including tourism and craft-based heritage initiatives.
