ZEG - Zveza Ekoloških Gibanj Slovenije

Founded in 2002, ZEG - Zveza Ekoloških Gibanj Slovenije is a non-profit network based in Krško, Slovenia working on environment & climate, health, democracy & civil society.

ZEG is a Slovenian federation of environmental associations, founded in 2002, that brings together environmental societies, municipal and regional environmental groups, and other non-governmental organisations. It is registered as a federation of associations under the Slovenian Associations Act and holds public-interest status. Its work covers coordinating member activities, environmental education, eco patrol inspections of pollution sites, a free eco hotline, public participation in environmental and spatial decision-making, legal and expert advice to citizens and civil initiatives, and green mediation for resolving energy and environmental disputes. It operates from Krško, Slovenia, across the whole country.
