2ISECAP is a Horizon 2020-funded research and innovation project (grant agreement No. 101033752) designed to enhance and integrate sustainable energy and climate planning methodologies. It operates through transnational Living Labs across six European municipalities including Padova, León, Tartu, Ljutomer, and Karditsa, bringing together diverse stakeholders including municipalities, universities, private enterprises, research institutions, and community organizations. The project develops practical toolkits for sustainable spatial planning and local energy coalitions to support cities in integrating climate goals into governance and planning. It emphasizes participatory processes, knowledge exchange, and capacity building to drive local energy transitions and support cities in achieving climate neutrality targets, including support for the European Commission's Net Zero Cities Mission.
