Founded in 2019, 35 Mules is a private headquartered in Juno Beach, United States specializing in Solar, Wind, Energy Storage.

35 Mules is the first in-house innovation hub backed by a global energy leader, created by Florida Power & Light Company in 2019. The program supports Pre-Seed to Series A startups across various industries with a focus on clean energy, grid modernization, and sustainability technologies. Each cohort of 6-10 companies receives $100,000 in non-dilutive cash grants, in-person programming at NextEra Energy's Juno Beach headquarters, access to subject matter experts, mentorship from industry leaders, business development support, and connections to investors and venture capitalists. The program has supported multiple cohorts since launch, with notable alumni including Revterra (kinetic battery technology), Switched Source (grid distribution equipment), Digital Twin Marine (maritime technology), Fire Neural Network (lightning detection), and others. 35 Mules does not take equity and does not guarantee pilots with NextEra Energy, but facilitates numerous partnership opportunities.
