ALER is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting renewable energies and accelerating fair, sustainable, and inclusive energy transitions in Portuguese-speaking countries, particularly in Africa. Founded in 2014, ALER operates as a cooperation platform for energy and climate, bringing together countries, people, and solutions. The organization structures and translates information on energy markets to make it accessible to investors and developers, while fostering regional cooperation, capacity building, and investment mobilization. Over more than a decade of collaboration with governments including Mozambique, ALER has established itself as a credible and trusted partner in supporting strategic energy frameworks, project development, and coordinated progress towards energy transitions across CPLP member states.
