Founded in 2001, Alterric-france is a private headquartered in Mulhouse, France with approximately 200-500 employees specializing in Wind.

Alterric is one of the first wind electricity producers in Europe, operating over 2,300 MW of installed capacity. The company was established from two entities (EIPP SARL and Intervent SAS) that have been present since the origins of wind energy in France in late 2001. With 200 wind turbines built and approximately 100 projects underway across France, Alterric manages all phases of wind farm development including research, detailed studies, financing, construction, operation, dismantling, and repowering. The company operates with a philosophy of controlling all project stages to remain close to local stakeholders and address community concerns. Notable projects include the Les Prieurs wind farm (24 MW, 8 Vestas turbines producing 50 GWh annually under a 25-year power purchase agreement with SNCF).
