Founded in 2018, Andrada is a private headquartered in Nagypáli, Hungary with approximately 50-200 employees specializing in Energy Storage.

Andrada operates a state-of-the-art closed-loop lithium-ion battery recycling facility in Sóskút, Hungary, with a 13 billion HUF investment. The company uses proprietary mechanical and chemical processes to safely extract critical materials including nickel, manganese, cobalt, aluminum, copper, and steel from end-of-life energy storage systems. The facility is designed as a multi-stage operation: starting with low-capacity non-hazardous metal waste recycling, then scaling to full battery processing. Andrada plans to establish additional facilities in Alsózsolca (northern Hungary) and Southern Spain. The company is committed to exceeding Western European environmental and occupational safety standards, with plans to employ 160 qualified professionals. Leadership includes Dr. Iztok Seljak (co-founder, Hidria Holding) and Peter Tibaut (former Magna Steyr battery development expert). The technology enables unlimited reuse of strategic materials critical to the green energy transition.
