Founded through the combination of assets from Amsted Graphite Materials and the acquisition of Pyroteks battery materials division, Anovion began commercial production in early 2021 from its pilot facility in Sanborn, NY. The company has secured EV application qualification and operates a fully integrated domestic supply chain. Anovion has a multi-year expansion program targeting 150,000 metric tonnes of annual capacity by 2028, with current plans to reach 40,000 tpa of finished product by 2028. The company is an active member of the North American Graphite Alliance and participates in supporting U.S. government initiatives including DoE, DoD, and USGS programs.
