About
Architecture 2030 is a ngo specializing in Solar, Wind, Energy Storage.
Architecture 2030 is a nonprofit organization focused on eliminating carbon emissions from the built environment. The organization developed the Zero Code Renewable Energy Procurement Framework, a flexible policy tool that provides cities and states with guidance for incorporating renewable energy—both on-site generation and off-site procurement—into building energy codes to achieve zero-carbon operations. The framework applies to new commercial, industrial, and mid- to high-rise residential buildings, and can also be adapted for existing buildings. Architecture 2030 also created the App in a Box tool to streamline the application process for jurisdictions seeking federal Inflation Reduction Act funding for building energy code adoption and implementation. Additionally, the organization launched the Carbon Smart Materials Palette to address embodied carbon reduction in buildings.
