Founded in 2024, Arven is a ngo headquartered in Leirfjord, Norway specializing in Hydro.

Arven is Norway's national competence centre for energy tourism, located in Forslandsdalen, Leirfjord municipality in Nordland. The centre gathers and shares knowledge on how energy, nature, and culture can be used to create new value without new encroachments on nature. It develops educational programs, experiences, and sustainable tourism concepts around existing renewable energy infrastructure. The centre features innovative architecture inspired by dams and hydropower plants, integrating exhibition spaces, learning trails, and cultural experiences. Arven collaborates with regional actors to position renewable energy as both a technological solution and cultural heritage resource, aiming to unlock economic value through energy tourism while building public understanding of Norway's energy system.
