Founded in 2021, Baltic Power is a private headquartered in Warsaw, Poland specializing in Wind.

Baltic Power is a joint venture between PKN ORLEN (Poland) and Northland Power (Canada) established under a partnership agreement signed in 2021. The project develops an offshore wind farm in the Polish Exclusive Economic Zone of the Baltic Sea, located approximately 23 km north of the coast at the level of Choczewo and Łeba. The wind farm will have a total capacity of up to 1.2 GW (target 1,140 MW) comprising 76 offshore wind turbines, each with 15 MW capacity. Construction commenced with onshore works in early 2024 and offshore installations began in January 2025, with commissioning expected in 2026. The project will supply clean electricity to approximately 1.5 million Polish households, representing about 3% of national electricity demand. Key infrastructure includes two offshore substations, a service and maintenance base in Łeba, and supporting onshore facilities. The project has obtained environmental decisions and building permits. ORLEN secured PLN 3.5 billion in funding from the National Recovery Plan. The project includes community engagement initiatives such as transitional compensation mechanisms for affected fishermen and educational programs on offshore wind technology.
