BalticSeaH2 is a private headquartered in Finland specializing in Hydrogen.
BalticSeaH2 is a five-year EU-funded hydrogen valley project launched in June 2023 with total funding of 33 million euros (25 million from EU). The project creates an integrated, interregional hydrogen economy spanning nine Baltic Sea region countries: Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. The main valley is located between southern Finland and Estonia. The project encompasses over 20 demonstration use cases and 10 investment cases, with hydrogen production potential reaching 60,000 tonnes annually by project completion. It aims to enable self-sufficiency and minimize carbon emissions across various industries through seamless integration of the hydrogen value chain.
