Founded in 2016, Bestoff-offshore is a renewable energy company specializing in Wind.
BestOff is a comprehensive research initiative dedicated to improving safety and health standards in the offshore wind industry. The project addresses knowledge gaps in occupational health and safety management through competency development, HSE coordination optimization, and workplace health promotion. Key deliverables include an e-learning tool for first aid and offshore competencies, a health promotion handbook, coordination optimization manual, and research on physical and psychological stress reduction for offshore employees. The project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and ran from April 2016 to March 2019, involving partnerships with multiple institutions including the Centre for Occupational Medicine and Maritime Medicine (ZfAM) and the von Lieberman GmbH.
