The member CCAs collectively require approximately 3,000 GWh annually with peak demand near 930 MW. CalChoice administers renewable energy procurement through long-term power purchase agreements and conducts requests for proposals for California Renewables Portfolio Standard-eligible energy products and resource adequacy capacity.
