CatVIC (Catalytic Valorization of Industrial Carbon) is a collaborative research project between France and Germany launched in October 2019. Funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), it focuses on innovative Power-to-X systems using high-temperature electrolysis for green hydrogen production and advanced catalytic technologies to valorize CO2 emissions from energy-intensive industries. The project aims to strengthen European leadership in clean energy and support the emerging hydrogen industry.
